Love...Hate...Nature (Max) 2009

This is Jeremy Kost's first book and he has chosen as his subject Max and the Tiger. The unguarded intimacy that characterizes Jeremy's work is portrayed in this series of 62 images taking the viewer on a voyeuristic romp packed with erotic wallop. Jeremy chooses to work with a Polaroid camera, this obsolescent device is less furtive than the digital cameras of more recent vintage, and seems to disarm people with its promise of an immediately tangible picture. Kost enjoys working within the Polaroid's technical restrictions which limits his control and results in the images marred by uneven luminosity and fuzzy contours.

The book is limited to 150 numbered copies and each includes a signed original digital C print (pictured). Exclusive to ICP Museum store.
