Toward the Margin of Life (DVD)

By Cornell Capa

Made in 1973 as part of an ICP series which he organized, this audiovisual presentation provides an honest glimpse into Cornell Capa's world of concerned photography. During an interview about this presentation, he said, "One strives to be an observing and participating photographer who can be objective and subjective at the same time. You must be objective to the degree that truth matters. You must be subjective because it's your thoughts, your view, it's what you feel that you want to translate into images. So to do these things is what photography is all about."
