Course Description

This workshop provides an introduction to computers in general and the Macintosh system in particular. Students learn all the basic features necessary to use a Macintosh computer for digital photography. Through hands-on instruction, they become familiar with the computer`s components—the desktop, its contents, and removable media such as CD-ROMs and DVD disk drives—and learn to create, save, open, and retrieve documents, use folders, and work efficiently. Upon completion of this workshop, students may advance to more demanding applications such as Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Dreamweaver, and Flash. note: This workshop is free to those who enroll in Photo I: Digital or Photoshop I: Digital Imaging for Photographers
