Through a combination of lectures and weekly assignments, participants are introduced to the essential tasks involved in project management: writing proposals, artist statements, and grant applications; asset management; production timelines and budgets; fiscal sponsorship and funding strategies; intellectual property and copyright; identifying artistic context; institutional partnerships; packaging a body of work for exhibition; and finding exhibition venues and avenues for promoting one`s work. prerequisite: Photo II
