Course Description

Join digital printmaking pioneers R. Mac Holbert and Jonathan Singer in an intensive printmaking experience. This hands-on workshop explores the latest developments in fine-art digital printmaking. By combining cutting-edge digital printmaking and imageediting technology with traditional photographic techniques, students learn how to properly optimize their images for high-quality inkjet output—small and large format. Topics include workflow, color calibration, color management, advanced imaging techniques, output options, substrate choices, and permanence issues. Participants are encouraged to bring digital files to work on, as well as existing prints for review by the instructors. prerequisite: Photoshop II, Photoshop for Adobe Lightroom Users, or portfolio review
